“Sweet Dreams”

The 2011 show will offer three days of Spring the first weekend in March.  Visitors will wander through a grand central display filled with flowering plants, water features, and stonework.  The 2011 theme, “Sweet Dreams”, will be a fantastical journey that relaxes the mind, body, and spirit and brings us back to childhood memories of fantasy and imagination.  Three days of seminars and educational workshops will be held.  There will be a professional floral competition and amateur floral competition through the Federated Garden Clubs of Vermont.  Kids will find a special room all their own devoted to hands-on activities and scheduled performers to entertain them.  Vermont Certified Horticulturists are on hand all three days to answer any gardening or landscaping questions.   The Vermont Railway Society will have a large, landscaped train display.  Cooking from the garden demonstrations will be held all three days.
