A group of Clivia enthusiasts from around Vermont will be showing off their plants during the Flower Show. The display of these spectacular flowers will be located in the Blue Ribbon Pavilion. Clivias are native to South Africa and come into bloom in the spring. Being tender perennials, they are treated as houseplants here in Vermont. A representative from both the North American Clivia Society and the Clivia Society of South Africa will be on hand during the show to answer questions and provide advice about the genus.
