The VNLA is happy to host a way we can all get a bit of down time, enjoy some amazing VT scenery and wildlife, and gather together outdoors with social distancing in place!  Please join us for a canoe/kayak trip down the Lamoille River on Thursday, August 20, 2020, launch time at 5pm.  It will be a 4.5 mile trip down the Lamoille which takes approximately 1.5 hours to paddle.  There are places to stop along the way and picnic.   All equipment and the shuttle van are sanitized after each use and masks are encouraged while in the shuttle and whenever social distancing is not possible.   While this is no replacement for our Summer Meeting and Trade Show we hope to see many of our members w/friends and family for this trip down the Lamoille!

COSTS

Vermont Canoe and Kayak is offering our VNLA group a discounted rate.  Rentals include a life jacket, paddle, and shuttle transport.  You can also bring your own life jacket.  The rates are as follows and include tax:

• Single kayak or paddle board:  $38.16
• Tandem Kayak or Canoe:  $66.78
• Canoes:  3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children (combined weight 150lbs.):  $66.78
• Shuttle your own boat:  $15 per boat

REGISTRATION / RSVP

We are asking that your reserve your boat/spot directly with Vermont Canoe and Kayak.  Let them know you will be with the VNLA group.  You can pay over the phone or the day of.  The DEADLINE to register/RSVP is Tuesday, August 18, 2020.  PLEASE CONTACT:
